Women Are Also Human

Growing up, I would hear and witness stories of women who were culturally delegated to fulfill tasks that were both detrimental to their emotional and physical well-being.

Watching these women created a convincing scene, for the younger generation, that our purpose in life consisted of giving birth, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of other people. Moreover, I was told that a woman was not allowed to show any tears as it was a sign of being ungrateful.
